This super cool self-collected fossil is from the Late Eocene - Early Oligocene time period. There is some debate on which formation they are coming from as we are finding mixed information from different geologic surveys and maps. We have determined this fossil to be Horsetail Reed considering this was found in an ancient swamp. These fossils are from the beautiful State of Washington. We believe these fossils are 33 million - 23 million years old.
