This calcite specimen is fluorescent and phosphorescent! The calcite itself fluoresces pink/orange while the white coating on it phosphoresces green. The green will stay for a few seconds. How cool is that?! I especially love this piece because the calcite crystals look so soft almost like a matte texture but it still shines so nicely! This specimen was mined in the spring of 2023 at our Black Tuesday Claim in Chelan Co., Washington, USA. This calcite occurrence is a fairly new discovery for our mining claim so we are so excited to make them available to all of you crystal lovers!
